Handled Box - free svg

Hi All! I don't know if you're going to be more surprised than I am, but I've actually finished another box file! I know, I know! (Cat in the Hat for those with kids who watch PBS :) This little guy is a nice one to put together because you only need to tacky tape two very small spots.

I originally made this to be all one piece, but found that the dimensions made this box extraordinarily small. Sooooo, I revamped and put it into two pieces so that we could all fit something inside that was bigger than a couple of tootsie rolls. Say what? You wanted to put a couple of your Halloween tootsie rolls into a box to share with your friends? Don't be a cheapskate! And please don't ever tell me I put more work into something than I should have! I'd prefer to find out that my extra work was worth it. ;) Especially since it is so hard to come by these days!

Happy Thanksgiving and enjoy another box cut file!

Thanks for sharing, is there a tutorial on how to assemble the box? I'm having some difficulty with it.

Thanks for your question...I don't have a tute for this yet, but I can kind of give you an idea for how this will play out. If you just put the pieces side by side so that the handles are both at the top and there is one "side" in between them, you should just be able to tape the flap of one piece to the flat side of the other piece. Does that make sense? After you have that done, it's just a matter of closing the bottom since the top just folds together with the small flaps on the handles. Let me know if you need more info!

Thanks!

Thanks, I have the file cut with silhouette, however the image seems incomplete.. (same with other boxes svg files that I downloaded)It looks like there is always one side got cut off.. for example the Big Box Free SVG with Gift Card Slots, the image doesn't look exactly what you showed in http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-hBOTvZMvGvw/UAYUvTJngPI/AAAAAAAACmY/U7WpfQDekic/s1600/DSCN0435%5B1%5D.JPG , maybe I didn't download them correctly? Is there a specific browser that I should download it from? Can I send you a email to show you what the images I downloaded look like? Thank you.

Hi Bleu,

Thanks for your comment. Please do email me the info (melinda.ford1@gmail.com). Noone else has reported any problems so hopefully this can be resolved pretty easily!

Thanks,

Melinda
