Mini Cupcake Box (Free SVG)

This post is a direct result of Tracy in Ecuador requesting a file...thank you, Tracy! Ever since I bought my mini mupcake pan from DI (1.00) I've wanted to make a cut file for this. I mean, hey, we all want to do a lot of things, right? I find, though, that I typically get more done if it's for somebody else...so here it is!
I decided to make brownies for the women I visit because I thought the brownies with nuts would be fun for fall. You'll notice the box here is a little tall for the brownies, but I did that on purpose. I wanted it to be tall enough that I could make a swirling tower of frosting on cupcakes should I want to put those in next time.

Here are the files for the mini cupcake box along with the dimensions you'll want to size them at in order to get them to fit together right.

Free SVG
Mini Cupcake Box Top .svg - keep proportions, size width at 9.327"
Mini Cupcake Box Bottom .svg - keep proportions, size width at 11.4"
Mini Cupcake Box Insert .svg - keep proportions, size width at 8.0935"

I didn't have any brownie mixes, so I took a chance on a homemade recipe that was highly acclaimed on Recipezaar. I actually thought it had a really good taste. If you want it, here it is: Brownies

well, I think I'd like to download one of your brownies, they look so delicious I can already taste them. If only we could share food online I'd NEVER get off my computer or cook again, 1 click child feeding, how awesome would that be? (We could all use a little more time for cricuting that's for sure:) Thank you for these wonderful box files, I can't wait to whip some up (I'll just make my hubby bake the brownies to put in them, he loves baking:)

This is a great idea! I think the insert would work for homemade candy too, like bons bons or fudge maybe. Thanks!

Hi Melinda.
I just love this cupcake box. I downloaded the files, but am unable to open them in scal. When I try to import it, it can't. I did notice that the file ends in .html. Should it be .svg? I feel like a dork. I download files all the time and don't usually have any trouble!

Hmm. They are .svg's - so the only thing I can think of is that maybe you saved the webpage they are downloaded from? Or maybe the settings when you downloaded were off? That's so weird. There's been over 350 downloads and noone else has had this problem. I'm so sorry I can't be of more help! P.S. Denise...I was browsing your blog the other day and didn't have a chance to comment, but holy moly! that teapot is adorable! You're so amazing!

Sorry Melinda!!!!
I have a new browser on my laptop and the steps are different for downloading files-I just missed one!
Boy is my face red!!!!!! I was doing something with another file last night when it dawned on me what the problem is. gees, you'd think I was new at this!!!

The teapot isn't my design. I purchased (gasp!!!) the file. I wanted to figure it out myself but just didn't have the time. Oh to be able to play all day:0)

I Love this so much for holiday gifts..I wonder if there is a way to make the box a little taller on a 12 x12 paper to do a double layer of goodies, kindof like the Witman's sampler.
