This cake is a fire truck I did for a neighbor a few years back. I just baked a 13 x 9 cake and cut it into thirds (the dimensions then were 4 1/3 x 9). I put one third on top of another third for the main body of the firetruck. The other third I cut in half and layered those for the front cab and cut at an angle to resemble a fire engine. Then I just decorated as I saw fit with red, black, and white frosting. Voila.
