Christmas Candy and Boxes (Free SVG)

My sister-in-law Jenny and "her people" came over this week and we made chocolates to give away to people. I love that we do this every year! We had so much fun and J.J. and Ryan loved having them over. It was fun seeing them play together.

Jenny made the Rice Krispies Treats that we dipped in chocolate and sprinkles. She also made delicious fudge that we cut shapes out of (recipe on back of marshmallow creme jar). If you want the recipe for the other chocolates (you won't regret trying them out - they're SO delicious!), here they are:

And of course...here's the file for the boxes we made. It's basically like a larger pastry box. Very simple design (cuz that's what I had time for!) If you size it as large as it will go on a 12 x 12 paper, you will get a box that fits eight mini baking cups just perfectly!

Thank you for the freebie and the recipes!! Did you actually temper the choc and use the El Rey brand (Peanut Butta recipe) or just melt Milk Chocolate??

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you Squelly...we went out of town! I just used Guittard milk chocolate chips and did it in the microwave. They still turned out GREAT! I kept them in the fridge for a while, but even out of the fridge they do ok. I'm sure tempering the chocolate might have it set better, but it set great for us and they don't last long!

This link doesn't seem to work anymore. I do get to 4shared but when i click download it stops after a while...I really love this box and would love to have it. TFS.

Hmmm, I'm not sure why that is. I just did it and it worked fine. If you want to leave me your email address, I can email you the svg. I'm not super computer saavy, but I wonder if it has something to do with your internet settings. But if you can download my other files, then it's probably not that. Please feel free to have me email it to you if you want!!

I have to commend you on these box files. I have spent literally all day today looking for svg boxes that actually work and don't fall apart and that look good and . . . and. . . LOL. Thank you so much for these!!!! I even purchased some files from svgcuts and they did not work at all. I was so disappointed for spending money on something that didn't work. I cannot tell you how excited I am to finally find some good svg boxes. You are definitely a favorite on my bookmarks and I will be adding your blog to my list of links.
Thanks again!

I have a request for you to modify the treat box to fit on a 12x12 page and the depth of the box to only be 1/2" to an inch. I have tried on my ecal software and cannot do it. I mess it up somehow. Please email me at jouwhoo@yahoo.com.
Thanks :)
